Did I ask what this meant? Should I?
It was a laugh. The whole time there. Like maybe time was suspended, or something. Or was it just a fluke? Really? You know, an experiment. Just seeing what if felt like. Kissing on a roller-coaster. Perhaps. But laughter took over and we were soon at some silly haunted house. Then a tea-cup ride, followed by logs on the water. Splashing in the hot sun. It just went on. As if we had no time to think. This ride and that ride. We went to all where the lines were still short and finally we made it to the rocket that sucks you to the wall and the floor drops open.
After-wards, I felt so woozy. My hand glued to his.
"We should eat." He decided.
"Should we." I wasn't sure I should.
"Come on, at least a drink. You know." His eyes were bright. Someone had to think for the both of us. He got me a huge pretzel too. He munched on a corn dog. Luckily, I didn't feel sick as we sat on a bench. All cozy, watching the world go by, His arm around my shoulder. The sun and the heat radiating us to a whole new life. I guessed, trying my hardest not to make so much out of it.
The nacho cheese was sort of messy on the pretzel, but I was content.
"You've got something-" He started to say.
"What?" I looked up at him. He kissed me then and the cheese was on his lip. I laughed then.
"Oh, you think its funny?" He smiled then and licked his lip. Did I really think it was funny? What was happening to us. I was feeling a little light headed.
"Are you sick?" He winced then.
"No." I was sure I wasn't. It was entirely something else.
