last minute

Jay took me Dollar General for the last minute stuff for school. They had some cooler notebooks than I expected. I even found an organizer. Yes, my life is complete not. Pens, paper, all I need is a new calculator. But Will says I can have his old one.

"Whatcha thinking?" He followed me everywhere. I kept filling his arms with stuff. I should have got a basket, but I didn't.

"School." I looked back at him and winced.

"Are you sure?" He didn't really want to know how all I could think on was birth control pills since Sasha mentioned them. She said I needed to be on them a year before I became sexually active. I wondered how long she'd been on them.

"Yes." I didn't want to be a huff about it. "I'm fine. I'm fine with you and Mom." But I glared at him that maybe that wasn't true and he looked at me as if he knew he was in the dog house.

"I know it was wrong. And- I - I tried to tell her how you might be upset." He sighed. "We should have set down and just talked this all over."

"Yeah, we should have. I don't like secrets." Of course, here I was keeping the biggest one about Ren. And it might be growing like a big fat zit if the birth control pills got involved, some how. I had to think school. Think school. Because tomorrow was the first day.

I don't blame her for disliking secrets - they often ruin everything! :/

So many things to think about. Hopefully, school will be fine.

I'm glad Jay can help. He seems like a really nice guy.

I hope she won't let Sasha get to her about the birth control.

Stationery shopping always makes me excited, although I suppose she has more things on her mind!

Oh the first day of school, always an apprehensive time and so much else to think about.

Happy week
